This is Sheriff Peanut Butter Brickle. I hear that everyone has a day off today. Something called Memorial Day. Well, I never have a day off because I am law enforcement. Can you imagine if I took a day off? Who would arrest everyone? No one I tell you. And definitely not Deputy Digby Pancake. He always leaves the dirty work up to me unless it is rolling in something dirty or dead. And then he takes control.

So today, as long as the Big Blue Treat Wagon cooperates, we will be leaving this Virginia place and headed to the Maryland place. I have never been to Maryland. If it is a land of Marys, then where is the land of Brickles? I would rather go there I think. But for now Maryland will do. And we had a great time in the Virginia place.

We visited Hope For Life Rescue, we played in the ocean on Virginia Beach, we hiked with our fans at a trail in First Landing State Park and we hit the amazing trails at Pocahontas State Park. Sometimes it felt like we were in that Florida place again with the heat. But then I looked around and nope, we definitely weren’t in Florida. That Florida place doesn’t have creeks and hills and trails like this. What I am finding out is that every place we visit has its own special personality, kinda like me. Every place has its own special people and food and way of doing things. Even every rescue we have visited so far has been different, but they still do it right. Does that make sense? If not, you. Are. Arrested.

So today, for those of you who don’t have to work, I want you to think of me while I am arresting everyone all the way from the Virginia place into the Maryland place. We are heading somewhere called Crisfield, Maryland. We visit our next rescue on Wednesday, so stay tuned for that. But for now, thanks to the Virginia place for a great time! Hear we come Maryland!
