This is Deputy Digby Pancake.  Wow, am I tired from spilling the good news to you yesterday about our upcoming adventure.  I am also real tired from dreaming about pancakes.  It’s absolutely exhausting!

As excited as I am about our trip in May, I am going to miss this Florida place.  I never knew that I was such a beach dog.  Sure, I knew I had the body, but I never knew that sunshiney could be sooooo nice.  Every day, we get to work outside by the ocean with Girl Person.  We get to pawtrol the waterways, howl at pontoon boats and police the fish.  We let the dolphins by on good behavior because they are very friendly.  The pelicans get on my nerves with their slow flying overhead and those seabirds that make the most irritating noises are arrested everyday.  As you can see, we have our work cut out for us.  And you thought we were just being lazy.  Wrong.  Sheriff Brickle says you are arrested.  And I thought he was sleeping.  I suppose he never is truly asleep.  Scary, isn’t it?

But what I am saying is this.  We never knew how happy we could be.  I want you to find YOUR sunshiney.  You see, that is what we call it.  Everyone needs sunshiney.  If you have to make a change in your life to get that sunshiney, I can tell you it’s worth it.  We are definitely going to miss this place.  So much.  But we aim to find more sunshiney on our trip. I have to go now and dream of more pancakes.  I am starving.  This beach body is totally overrated.
